2018 BIG3

It’s that time of the new year again when HHS announces the new Big3. This program was implemented into HHS after the 2013 SeaZon to showcase the Top3 artist in the SeaZon based on their performances and movements the previous year. These artist headline all the showcases for the year, become the faces and of the brand and receive HHS’s backing in everything they do music wise. In 2014 it was Ha Style, King Ceazar & Nubia Emmon. In 2015 it was Ha Style, King Ceazar & Black&White. In 2016 King Ceazar, Suzann Christine & She Real. Now fast forward to last year 2017 we had Suzann Christine, She Real & SluggoDaDon. If you noticed the trend of the veterans staying in the program an extra year to headline with the new artist you are right on the money. This years veteran is Sluggodadon and the two new faces is Jazzmyn Red and MulaManDam who make up the 2018 Big3!

SluggoDaDon-(Queens,NY)

Stats:
-Rookie Open Mic Winner
-2X HHS Champion
-2016 Fab5
-2017 Big3
-2018 Big3
-2018 HHS Legend

We’ve had the pleasure of watching Sluggo grow up from being the wild 18 year old tearing up the Open Mics to the Young King who’s now a father and a legend in the program. Sluggo has set the performance bar so high at HHS that he’s taught young artist coming in how to kill a stage. From dancing on the bar to jumping off the stage with no shirt on he has been a one man wrecking crew. His performances also inspire younger champions like MulaManDam and Swaggtana to kill stages with their own sauce. Although Sluggo’s 2017 SeaZon started off slow with lack of music being released in the earlier part of the year he closed out the year strong. He delivered one of his most notable singles yet called “I Can Afford it” and has been shaking all the clubs with it. This year he’s already showing signs of consistency with his releases and polished up his performances even more. Look of for his video for “I Can Afford It”. It’s going to fill your eyes with energy for sure.

MulaManDam (Long Island,NY)

Stats:
-Rookie Open Mic Winner
-2X HHS Champion
-2Top3 Placments
-2018 Big3

MulaManDam is the Long Island’s golden child and his ceiling has no end. Mula also started in the Open Mics like Sluggo but was a late bloomer. People didn’t start taking notice to him until he stepped up his stage presence and made classic hits with Casso’s fire productions. His early hits line “Movin” and “It’s Lit” were actually used in the showcase promo videos before he even won a title. He began to build up his song collection on SoundCloud and dropped even more classics like “Drip”, “Pull Up” and our favorite “Who Is This”. His hit making ability and distinctive voices laced all the tracks in a way that we all could all not stop listening to them. Once he won his first title in the beginning of the 2017 he shot up the rankings right behind sluggoDaDon. His SoundCloud releases every Friday also kept his voice buzzing through people’s ears consistently. Mula & Casso are creating a sound for an Island that’s never really had one before. His first project is actually in the works as we speak and is sure to shake up the city in a major way.

Jazzmyn Red-(Brockton, MA)

Stats:
-Rookie Open Mic Winner
-2017 FAB5
-2017 Boston’s Artist of the Year
-2018 Big3

Jazzmyn Red hasn’t been in the HHS program long but made us take notice of her superior bars instantly. She made her way into the Open Mic killing the stage with her hit single “Positive Vibes Only”. Then came to the main stage at HHS and killed all the guys in the halftime Cypher during the show. Her one freestyle earned her a spot in the 2017 FAB5 as the leading and only lady. When the Cypher was released there was no doubt she was a queen MC that was just as vicious with her words as She Real. She once again made the HHS Cypher her own with her blatant powerful freestyle about the system in America. For those who didn’t know Jazz before got woke to her really quickly. Jazzmyn has an established brand and made her name ring throughout Massachusetts after dropping her first tape. The tape includes positive vibes with mind folding poetry intermissions that will make you put your fist in the sky. She’s a reincarnation of Queen Latifah in the flesh.
