When did you start doing music?
I started doing music my Freshman year of college at Montclair State University. I used to hop in these late night cyphers and rap and over time I met people and eventually found myself in the Booga Basement and the rest is history.

Tell us a little about your childhood.
I had a fun childhood. I grew up in a small suburban town (Westwood) and sports basically consumed my life. I played football, basketball, and baseball until I was 18 and then football for 2 years in college. Aside from that I had a lot of friends and nothing but good memories. I was a happy kid.

Which artist do you share similar styles with?
I like to think that I don’t sound like anybody to be honest, I’m more or less influenced by artists and styles. I’m basically a fusion of every kind of music I ever listened to.

Who’s your favorite singer of all time and why?
Favorite singer of all time is Michael. Not only the best performer but MJ has this way of making you feel what he says and I love that.

How did you feel when you won your first HHS title?
It felt great! It’s always a beautiful thing to put your mind to something and come prepared and get done exactly what you set out for. It goes to show that hard work pays off and that satisfaction is undeniable.

Who was your toughest competitor at a Hip Hop SeaZon Showcase and why?
Sluggo Da Don was dope for sure. Loved his energy. You could tell he takes his craft serious and loves what he does and that’s half the battle, let alone he had a fire turn up record. Much respect.

Who’s your celebrity crush?
I have always had a thing for Meagan Good since I was a kid. She was the first that came to mind.

What was your most memorable moment at a Hip Hop SeaZon Showcase?
Hearing my name being called was a great moment but the most memorable moment was the performance itself and feeling the energy and love from the crowd. Nothing but good vibes.

Where do you see yourself 3 years from now?
Biggest artist in the world.

Any shoutouts you’d like to make?
My team “bxxb” and Airplay Entertainment for making sure I always stay on track and deliver nothing but A1 music and performances and of course my family and my friends and beautiful girl for believing in me and never giving up on me. This isn’t for me this is for us and like I always say, one day it’ll all make sense, I promise!
