On June 22nd Hip Hop SeaZon celebrated their well anticipated 2 Year Anniversary Showcase. Only 2 years you ask? Yup, it took less than 2 years for them to become America’s Best Hip Hop and R&B Showcase. With a strong foundation, a premium host and a large pool of talent, there’s no telling how far the company will go. This show was just another stamp of Michael Chillz’s brilliance in creating this program for unsigned superstars. It featured HHS legends King Ceazar and Ha-Style, who represented the first wave of Champions with 2015’s new wave. The New Champs like Setto, Manganelli and Domofdadistict were all competing for their second title. If you asked me who was going to win that night, I wouldn’t have been able to tell you – because all three were very talented. After all the performers went, there was actually a pair of new champions crowned who were not new to HHS at all. The AveBoyz became the first group since One of a Kind in SeaZon 1 to win the title. These guys won the Rookie of the Year Open Mic the previous month, and brought that same energy to the showcase. They also placed in SeaZon 13 to lose to Domofdadistrict, then in SeaZon 14 to Manganelli. Their persistence and hunger paid off in the end, which is a very familiar story at HHS. The same happened to King Ceazar and Black&ndWhite when they competed in the showcases. Now they are both ranked #1 in the HHS Top 10s. In their winning speech, Chyno of the AveBoyz encouraged the new artist to keep coming back to the show to perfect their craft no matter what. It was probably the most motivational speech that was ever given from a Hip Hop SeaZon Champ. What makes this company different than other showcases around the country is that they do more than just give performing artists a platform. They actually want to grow with them and be a part of their journey to success. Whether it’s by giving them positive feedback, posting their new releases for free or supporting their upcoming shows at other venues. Like a great university they want to give you all the tools you need to do well at the next level. They are also not motivated by money since their performance fees are affordable and if an artist is really that talented and motivated the company will make a way for them to touch the stage without paying a dime. So if you’re an up-and-coming artist looking for a program to grow with, visit HipHopSeaZon.com and submit your track today!!!
